Chorlton Water Park

Chorlton Water Park is a Local Nature Reserve and stands on the site of Barlow Hall Farm. During the construction of the M60 motorway in the 1970s gravel was excavated from the site. The gravel pit was subsequently flooded creating the lake that is central to the Water Park today.

The old mill lodge is lined by trees with straight forward access to pegs. The shallower pegs near to the fishery entrance produce some huge bags in summer, which consist of mostly small Carp but also some large Tench, plus Roach, Perch and Skimmers.
