Fairview Lake is situated in the village of Wistow near Selby in North Yorkshire. The lake is a former clay pit from the 1800's. It contains a variety of coarse fish with about a hundred Carp reaching double figures of 20lbs to 30lbs. Fairview Lake is also known to have  Pike (28lb), Perch (4lb 8oz), Tench (10lb) and Roach (3lb 8oz) so anglers have a chance to catch a specimen in most species.
