A two lake complex set in a well matured woodland park, the lakes were formed when this former clay pit was flooded in the 1930’s.
The Small Pond has 22 pegs with paths all-round for easy access. Pegs 21& 22 are for wheelchair use. This pond is well stocked with carp upto 5lb, crucian carp, roach, rudd, ide, perch, tench, bream and gudgeon. An ideal venue for anglers of all abilities. Regular Junior matches are held on Saturday mornings during the summer months. Best weight in a Senior event is 54lb in a 3 hour evening match.
The Large Pond, which is six acre’s is a mixed fishery that caters for both the pleasure and specimen angler.
For the specimen angler there’s Carp up to 30lb with Bream to 9lb and Tench to 7lb and these can be caught or various methods and baits. In the summer brilliant catches can be made just a few meters from the bank and this pond is now starting to show a good head of silvers.
