The Slips is currently a day ticket water of around 6 acres in size that sits adjacent to Berwick Ponds. Both lakes are connected via a large cylinder pipe which is controlled. Some years ago the lake was made wider and now fishing is from one bank only.
There are 36 swims. The lake has average depths of 2ft-3ft and there are a few pockets with depths of 4ft-5ft.
The lake is well stocked with small Carp, ranging from 1lb to 10lb with a good head of Crucian Carp, Roach, Perch and Bream.
There is a large secure car park plus a flush toilet.
Opening times are from 7am to 8pm Mon - Sun.
