I am thinking about returning to fishing again after about thirty years. I am trying to find some more detailed information about the George Hall lakes but they do not seem to have a web-site. Can you help at all ? Many thanks

Good afternoon, I am planning to fish on Sunday, and I was wondering if I can bring a gas burner to heat water for a cup of tea, or can I buy hot drinks through out the day please? Thank you

We took our 10 year old Grandson to the Bobby George lakes on 17/08/2022 for a birthday treat. It was his 1st ever fishing trip and he absolutely loved it. We fished the pond/ small lake and he caught at least 6 different species. Bobby came around to collect the rod fees and went out of his way to give our Grandson some well appreciated advice, and even posed for photos. We will definitely be going back. Great venue, on-site very clean toilets and well looked after fish.

I fished Bobby George Lakes Saturday 14th August 2021, which was the first time I have fished this venue. A lovely looking venue and had the the pleasure of meeting the legend himself, Bobby George, who provided some much needed fishing tips. Had a fantastic days fishing and catching carp from around the 3lb mark to the 12lb mark all day. I will definitely come here again soon.

Lovely place to fish, a gem of a find - Reviewed 8th Apr 2019 at 5:34pm

Both my wife and I love Bobby George Lakes. Not often you find somewhere that's almost perfect. My wife feels safe there and she catches loads of carp. The facilities are great, access to the lakes is easy too. Yesterday I fished for the first time, went for the barbel, didn't catch one but caught carp all day long, all up to 8-9lb, and it was a good day, so much so that my arms ache from all the fish caught. Looking forward to returning soon and would recommend BG lakes to anyone.
