I don't understand the bad reviews I went on the 2 June and thought it was a very good fishery 4 Stars from me can't wait to go back

I’m finding it hard putting into words what a shambles of a fishery this is, a lot of the swims are in desperate need of attention, I have never seen a fishery so overstocked In my life, the fish are starving making it one of the easiest lakes I’ve ever fished, due to this most fish landed had severely damaged mouths and were in very poor condition, there was a number of small dead fish floating around and this I’m sure is down to overstocked and very poor water quality. The rules make it near impossible to get a good amount of bait out in your swim unless fishing under your rod tip, to top it off was greeted by a very miserable bailiff who clearly knows nothing about fishery management, for a very busy day ticket lake that takes a lot of money, I suggest that they put some money back into the fishery and gone on a fishery management course

One of the best lakes in the area. If you fish by the rules the bailiff doesn’t have a problem

good lake for beginners, lots of stock of 6-10 pounders, bailiff claims there is a 30 pounder but have never seen one come out. speaking of which, the bailiff can be rude if he doesn't like the look of you but once you get to know him he can be ok.

The bailiff is still as miserable if not worse. It fishes ok but you aren’t exactly made to feel welcome! If I didn’t know better I would think he was French.

If I could give no stars, I sure would. The bailiff is so rude and doesn’t have any respect for any of anglers on the lake. He picks and choices on what day he wants to make up new rules. All of the fish are pointless catches. Let’s just say a waste of time.
