Thoby Wood Lake is a coarse fishing venue located near Ingatestone in Essex. The lake is controlled by Billericay & District Angling Club Waters. This 5-acre lake is a new acquisition to the Club, and contains carp to mid-20’s, tench, bream, pike, rudd, roach and perch. Stocking of smaller tench and crucians took place in late 2009, and it is hoped to continue stocking with other species in the near future.
Carp 25lbs, bream 9lbs.
Short incline up to nearest swims from large car park. Disabled blue badge holders may drive a short distance to a car park for their use, avoiding the incline.
Access between 6am and 30mins after sunset only.
