An increasing popular fishing venue, the Big Pond is now gaining a well-deserved reputation as an excellent catfish water. With over sixteen acres of water to choose from, finding a swim shouldn't be a problem. This mature gravel pit offers a wide range of fishing from its 69 different swims all with their own features.

Species include Common & Mirror Carp to 24lb, Bream to 10lb, Perch to 3lb and Tench to 11lb. 

The lake also provides an opportunity to catch some of the more exotic and non-indigenous species like Grass Carp to 30lb +,  Koi Carp and Wels Catfish to over 68lb.
