Pixley Pools Fishery is a Carp fishery situated outside the town of Ledbury. The fishery comprises of two separated pools located about half a mile from each other.Pixley pool and Glebe pool are irrigitaion lakes built to supply the water to fruit fields and both contain a good head of Mirror and Common Carp.Pixley pool is a pleasure venue but also very popular for matches.It is stocked with common carp from about 8lbs in
weight to the mid-20s but there are also a
decent number of mirror carp.Glebe pool is very similar to Pixley pool. It is open in May 2012. Glebe Pool is stocked with common carp which average about 5lbs but which are known to run to 10lbs. The fish is in immature condition since the pool is recently opened for fishing.
