Danson park has some fantastic fishing facilities and opportunities with a great range of course fish specialising in large carp that go into double figures. There are a number of fishing platforms available that are suitable with any disabled users giving full access to the waters edge as well as bank fishing all along the south side of the lake. Fishing is permitted on the South Bank of Danson Park Lake only and operates as a day ticket arrangement, which are issued on the production of a Rod Licence. During the day a members of the watersports team will sell day licences from the bank or the boat hire kiosk.

Can anyone help settle a friendly bet. Has anyone heard of Pike caught from the lake in Danson park?

I was recommended Danson to fish for pike but are there any in there?!

I've been fishing danson park for 30 years and never heard of a pike being caught but I've caught a 5 pound perch in the 1980s
