Sutton Springs Trout Fishery is comprised of two venues, one of which is a day ticket water, fly fishing in a clear water lake for quality monster brown and rainbow trout. The minimum stock size is 10lbs, 20 pounders common with larger fish always available for stalkers. The largest fish caught to date at Sutton Springs Trout Fishery was a fish of 37lbs 2oz. All the fish are grown on site to maintain reliable quality and supply. The other venue that Sutton Springs Trout Fishery owns is situated 5 miles away called Testwood Trout Fishery, which is larger. The stocking policy is the same and includes a stretch of the legendary River Test where anglers can extend their day by fishing catch and release. Testwood is reserved for parties of at least 6 plus people. Fishing at either of these venues promises true angling excitement. Testwood Trout Fishery Both venues offer an exchange smoking service at £10 per fish which is popular in that it alleviates taking home ungutted whole fish. Most anglers catch their personal record weight fish at these venues and are spoilt for later fishing elsewhere. The fishing lodge has the usual facilities i.e. toilets, microwave, tea and coffee and bags for taking home your catch.
