Wych Elm Fly Fishery, Carnforth

Holme, LA6 1, Cumbria, United Kingdom

Wych Elm Fly Fishery was created in 1989, since then it has been extended to form an attractive 2 acre fishing lake, with twelve fishing platforms but with a limit of only eleven fishermen. The fishery is fed from natural springs so it remains clear all year round, ideal for stalking fish. Brown Trout, Brook Trout and tagged fish are stocked as sport fish. If you catch a tagged fish you earn yourself a free 1/2 day - 2 Fish Ticket. The Wych Elm Fishery is stocked daily with only the very highest quality fish from the regular Scottish supplier. Based on the same grounds as Wych Elm Holidays in South Cumbria it offers a perfect short fishing break destination, with the Self catering accommodation less than 100 yards walk you can fish by day and relax in the evening. The fishery itself is close to the Historic city of Lancaster and the well known market town Kendal providing activities to suit all tastes.
