Bure Cottage

Bridge Street, Bures St. Mary, CO8 5, Suffolk, United Kingdom

All methods work on this stretch of river. The roach, dace, chub and perch can all be taken using the stick or waggler float while a swim feeder in the deeper water can account for some superb bags of bream. The pole angler will also enjoy some great sport on this section. There is a good head of pike and perch and dead-baiting and spinning will get good results.BaitsMaggots, caster, bread, hemp, worms all work well.Access to this stretch of the river is via the side of the shop. Take the footpath to the end of the wall, turn right along the footpath that runs adjacent to the ditch. On reaching the river, the club section runs from the pillbox on the left to the fence before the houses on the right.

Carp up to 20lbs
