The 24 acre West Lake at Colwick is stocked with carp including some recently moved to the lake that weighed up to 36lb!  This lake is also used for canoeing and sailing by the Adventure Centre.  Season tickets, day tickets and weekend tickets available.The Colwick coarse season runs from 16th June to 15th March 2012. The West Lake was re-stocked with 135 Common, Mirror, Ghost and Golden Carp in November 2011.
