The cost of fishing is £15 per night and £5 per day. There are several fishing lakes in the Waveney Valley, but few provide the opportunity to camp directly next to the lake in a picturesque location.

The water is a fair depth of 4 feet and is stocked with little bream, although some larger ones up to 5 pounds have been captured. Tench up to three pounds are available, as well as a thriving roach and rudd population.

Bread works well as a bait here, and I was able to catch 20 pound of silver fish in only a few hours this week. Carp up to 15 pounds may be caught close in at three meters using a pole or waggler.
