South Cerney Angling Club was formed by seven local anglers in 1936. Dab chick Lake is a mature gravel pit of about eight acres in size and is stocked with a good head of carp, tench, roach, perch, pike and bream. An all round fishery, in a tranquil setting, that has produced some good tench and roach fishing, with carp up 30Ibs having been caught. Day tickets are not available for this venue, although night fishing is permitted for our members. Ample parking is available behind locked gates. There are toilet facilities on site with disabled access.
