Budworth Mere

Budworth Lane, Great Budworth, CW9 6, Cheshire, United Kingdom

Budworth Mere with 80 acres in size is large water. However, Budworth is shallow water with depths reaching up to 5 feet. The water shelves gradually before it levels out. The mere holds goods shoals of coarse fish including bream and roach, plus a few odd carp. In the right conditions, big bags of bream (up to and over the magic 100lbs) can be caught on the feeder.
