Fairlie Moor Fishery is a 13-acre, highland loch which offers visiting anglers several astonishing views throughout the Clyde estuary.
The swampy waters of this venue are stocked with various hard-fighting brown and rainbow trout species that vary in size and weight. There is also an available bait pond that is functional. Other species of fish that can be found within this fishing venue are golden trout and some trace of steelheads. It is usually stocked with 400 lbs to 500 lbs of rainbow trout every Thursday.
The venue's rules are simple, such as no handling fish with dry hands; net is allowed for fishing, however, no lifting the fish out water, and be as fast as possible as well. They have a shop selling limited tackle supplies that also offers tea/coffee for free daily. There are also several sites that can be accessed by wheelchair, specially made for the disabled.
