Allestree Park Lake

Evans Avenue, Derby, DE22 2EL, Derbyshire, United Kingdom

The 7 acre lake is situated in Allestree Park which is some 320 acres, making it the largest open space in Derby. It is a mixed fishery with specimen carp, tench, bream, pike and silvers. We continue to work with Derby City Council to improve the lake and will be introducing further habitat and planting alongside a fishery management programme.

On Saturday 20th November 2015, 'Moz' was introduced into Allestree Lake at 27lbs in memory of Maurice (Moz) Walker.  Moz is expected to reach 30lbs+ in 17/18 Season
