Lower Slade

Doggie Lane, Lee, EX34 8, Devon, United Kingdom

Lower Slade is tucked away in the rolling hills of Ilfracombe, North Devon. It is a long narrow lake which has a great mix of fish species and is a real great venue for the all-round angler or pleasure fisherman. It is stocked with mirror and common carp to 27lb, bream to 8lb, perch to over 4lb, roach to 3lb and pike to 27lb. Slade was restocked in 2007 with 50 carp weighing 4-5lb and again in 2011 with 40 carp averaging 14lb. The fish are growing really well and look out for some ghost strained common carp which go to around 15lbs!
