Stollies Lake is a members-only fishery located near Abridge in Essex. The fishery comprises of 200 year old lake with 20 pegs, 2 islands extending to approximately 0.8 acres (0.3ha). There is a steel container on site and car parking adjacent. The property is screened by a woodland belt containing a mixture of broadleaved trees.
A gentleman’s agreement is in place for the current car parking arrangement, with an adjoining land owner. There is however the potential to bring the car parking inside the fishery.
The current owner, London Anglers Association, has made several improvements to the fishery. Aquatic vegetation has been cleared, the water quality improved and 20 fishing pegs have been constructed.
FISH STOCKS
The fishery has been stocked with common and mirror carp to 28lb, crucian carp 3lbs, rudd 1lbs, roach 1lbs, tench 5lbs, chub 3lbs.
