Shatterford Lakes is one of the UK's top angling facilities, set amongst 25 acres of scenic Worcestershire countryside approximately 3 miles from Kidderminster, with four syndicate and two day fishing lakes all interconnected by pure natural spring water running from the hills into the valley below.

The fishery itself offers ideal fishing conditions for beginners as well as a challenging but rewarding experience for angling enthusiasts who can catch catfish up to 70 pounds, carp up to 42 pounds, and a variety of good-sized silvers, including roach up to 3 pounds and bream up to 10 pounds in our syndicate waters. On our top pool, our day ticket water provides superb sport for silvers and match anglers, with large weights of 72lb frequently weighing in. We also have a cat and carp pool with carp weighing 20-25 pounds and cats weighing 25 pounds. There are also a few large grass carp in the lake, with the lake record being 21lb 10oz.

Shatterford Lakes were launched in 1972 as a Wildlife Country Park before focusing only on fishing. Local animals may still be seen in the region, making this a very lovely angling site regardless of the season.

With six lakes in total, two of which are specimen lakes, there are several fishing opportunities depending on your style and preference on any given day. Here you'll discover some of the country's biggest carp and catfish.

Shatterford offers two vacation cottages that sleep ten and twelve people, respectively. These charming cottages are located on the owner's property and are nestled among the Worcestershire countryside's hills and lakes.

Each cottage is roomy and well equipped to a high quality, with a wood burning fireplace, a contemporary kitchen, and gorgeous views of the lakes. Double doors at the rear of the homes lead to a private lawn, which is ideal for relaxing with family and friends.
