Parking is available along the street, away from the bridge, at the Horse and Barge public house. The canal is crossed by power lines, and "no fishing zones" are plainly marked. Day tickets are available from the bailiff at the bank. There are bream, tench, roach, perch, carp, chub, and pike can be found. This fishery is open throughout the year.
