Longford Small Lake is located off Chevening Road, Chipstead. Immediately adjacent to the main lake this is a 3 acre water which is surrounded by mature trees so it is invariably sheltered from the worst of the weather. Fed also by the River Darenth at one end and discharging into the main lake at the other end, as such the water level remains fairly constant.
Depths vary from 3 to 15 feet . All the main species are present with carp , roach , rudd , perch, tench, bream and skimmers . Tench and bream can reach over 5lbs also Carp to 22lbs have been caught in this water. Smaller carp (12ozs to 11/2 lbs) have also been stocked and over time will hopefully grow on.
Total number of rods that can be used on this lake is 2 rods and no bait boats are allowed.
