Chilham Mill Lake is well-known among carp anglers for its beautiful setting and large stock of specimen English carp, with at least nine fish now over 40 pounds and another 80 plus fish above 30 pounds, followed by 300 fish over 20 pounds. The lake also holds many specimen Bream, Tench, and Pike to 34 pounds, and the fish are still growing well and are catchable all year, with multiple catches including many thirties and some forty pound fish. We've continued to stock the lake with authentic English carp that are really treasures.

On a more personal note, since becoming the new owner of the Chilham Mill Estate in 2011, I've been astounded by the quantity and quality of fish caught during my tenancy. Contrary to popular belief, I am an avid fisherman who is committed to ensuring that Chilham Mill stays the great water it is today.
