Johnson's Pit

Water Lane, Enton, GU8 5, Surrey, United Kingdom

This is a private lake of some 21 acres in a rural area and owned by the club and purchased in September 1986 . This lake is literally the other side of the fence from our Lottery funded new Marsh Farm complex which opened to members in June 2004 and to Day tickets in August 2004. An exceptional mixed fishery and whilst it is well known for its excellent carp fishing, it seems that all species present grow to be specimen fish. The lake and its surrounds are very flat making it ideally suited to disabled anglers. Several swims have safety bars at the front. There are two parking spaces close to the first swims that are clearly marked with disabled badges. There are 4 parking areas, 1 immediately inside the gate on the right, 1 directly ahead of you upon entry, the 3rd and largest by far is at the end of the entrance road to your left. The 4th car park is accessed via Marsh Farm and is in the woods giving easy access to what was regarded as the far side of the lake. No parking is permitted in the swims.

Carp to 7lb
Tench to 3lb
