Spring View Fisheries

Taylors Lane, Ince, WN3 4, Wigan, , United Kingdom

Steys Fishery is a coarse fishing venue located near Wigan. Previously known as Spring View Fishery, the fishery is now under new management.Quality bream and tench are the feature in this hugely popular 38-peg water, the biggest and some believe the best on a three-water site where the action can at times be spectacular. The triangular pool is the biggest and holds a good mixed stock including carp, tench, bream, roach, perch, barbell, chub and pike. Night fishing is allowed on this lake only where specimen rods target carp over 30lb, together with tench and bream to double figures.

Same happened to me last year, woke up to some young lads teenagers trying to barge in my bobby. I got rid of them but my car was broken into on the car park and some bits of tackle robbed. I phone the police who told me it’s well known for it.
