Church Garden

Lea Gate, Bradshaw, BL2 3ET, Greater Manchester, United Kingdom

The old mill lodge is lined by trees with straight forward access to pegs. The shallower pegs near to the fishery entrance produce some huge bags in summer, which consist of mostly small Carp but also some large Tench, plus Roach, Perch and Skimmers. Deeper pegs always produce Roach and Skimmers with Tench and Crucians found in the margins. Top weights are Carp to over 30lbs (best in 2003 - 26lbs), Tench to 6lbs, Crucians, Roach, Perch and Bream. The fishery is regularly stocked with many species.
