I was there the week it all went tits up….early 90s. I turned up to fish to find almost all the stock was dead. The bloke who ran the lake, (he lived in the flats over the road) was a complete air head. It’s a shame cos it was a Great Lake. He lost almost all the fish in 48 hours… There nothing in there now….

Closed…all in the name of greed!

Shame about this lake, many happy family memories under old Eric who kept it public for the enjoyment to all…but no doubt owned by someone who is only interested in the commercial aspects and not about anyone else!

I am the owner of Sheepy Lake and can confirm that the lake has been closed for 5 years and will not be reopening.

Its been sold now and you cannot fish it. It's a real shame as it has been dredged 8/4/20
