This pond is in a lovely park in a nice area of Liverpool. Pumps hardly ever on at this lake so the only oxygen the lake gets is from the rain, but, cos there are loads of trees surrounding the water, the debris and dead trees and leaves also deplete the oxygen level to the point the fish are all in one corner of the water gasping for air, slowly suffocating, most of the decent fish died in the Summer time due to the hot weather and no oxygen in the water. A local told me (I was there 11th, 12th and 13th Feb) he'd fished there every weekend for the last 2 years and in that time he has caught around 30 Carp and countless Bream but 70-80% of the fish that were stocked there have died. If you like to fish challenging waters and you don't mind blanking 9 out of 10 times give this place a go, but, until the council start to look after the water and re-stock the pond the fishing isn't going to be very good I'm afraid.
