Felthorpe Lakes are set in the peaceful Norfolk countryside around ten minutes drive from Norwich airport. The site consists of three lakes offering sport and leisure fishing. a range of species including; Mirror Carp, Common Carp, Grass and Ghost Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch and a few crucian Carp. Day tickets and overnight tickets are available on site and for the regular visitor also offer a Loyalty Card scheme. Mirror Lake Also referred to as the specimen lake, Mirror Lake is the largest at around 2 acres. It has many features and is stocked with several Mirror and Common Carp in the twenties and late teens, a grass carp at 14 pound 8 ounces among other grass carp caught, Tench, Roach, perch and Rudd also feature. The record still stands at 26lb 10oz for a Common. Foxes Lake An excellent day ticket lake although it has got at least one 18 pound common carp, a 9 ½pound Tench as well as smaller carp, bream, roach, rudd and perch. Foxes is the second largest of the lakes at 1.7 acres and is the deepest of the waters. Some of the regulars like to do overnight sessions on this lake too. Shadows Lake Also called the match lake with a good stock of Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Bream. It offers 17 pegs. This is a good lake to fish for small to medium size carp along with a good range of silver fish. It used to be used as the match lake on a frequent basis however we now only have a few matches in the quieter periods of the year due to the Lily Pads.
