Highbridge Fisheries

Bridgham, NR16 2, Norfolk, United Kingdom

The water is a 6.7-acre reservoir that is tree-lined and offers spectacular sunsets. It is a clay-lined reservoir with a lot of bloodworm and some natural vegetation. There are no large hotspots, but there is a shelf where you can bait an area where they will eat, and the middle of the reservoir is 40 feet deep, so other fishermen will not throw over your swim, which is around 200 metres wide at its narrowest point.

This time of year, carp have been taken in 40 foot of water, and substantial bags with a smattering of freebies are highly successful at this depth. A secure gated vehicle lot, a fully heated and equipped kitchen, and a fully heated cloakroom with hot water and flushing toilet are all available. About 2 miles down the road is a local Chinese and fish and chip store.

You can use up to four rods per member, have one non-fishing visitor each syndicate member, and fish all day and night. Common Carp to 44 pound Mirror Carp to 30 pound Roach to 4 pound 1 ounce Bream reaching double digits, perch to over three pounds. Baits from Moretakes are available on site at a reduced price, and loan tackle is available if you forget or break your own. Please contact James Brown for more information on this highly friendly syndicate water.

As the advert goes I loved it so much I bought the fishery! Been fishing as a member for three years when the opportunity arose to buy it. It’s far from easy but very rewarding. I’ve had some big carp and huge roach, my favourite part is the membership they are all such great guys and gals, you will struggle to find a friendlier syndicates.

I love fishing here for the carp in the summer and the roach in the winter, all of the members are so friendly and helpful it’s the best syndicate I have ever been a member of, never a cigarette end or tea bag to be found on the bank, the fully equipped kitchen and flushing toilet just finishes it off for me!
