Mill Farm fishery is a three-lake coarse fishing complex that was established around 16 years ago and offers excellent fishing in a picturesque wooded environment.

Mill Pond has 40 pegs, ample bankside protection, and an average depth of three feet. It can accommodate carp up to 25 pounds, crucians and roach up to 2 pounds, tench up to 9 pounds, and perch up to over 4 pounds.

Hammer Pond is a relatively recent addition, but it already has an abundance of roach to 1 pound, crucians to 2 pound, perch to 1 pound, tench to 4 pound, and silver bream to 1 pound. [By the way, Mill Farm now holds the British silver bream record with a weight of 1lb 12oz.]

The Specimen lake is about 4 acres in size and has 18 well-spaced pegs with depths of around 7 feet. There are no fish under ten pounds, and all three carp species reach a maximum weight of thirty pounds.

Day Tickets: £7.50 for Hammer Pond, £9.50 for Mill Pond, and £12.50 for Specimen Lake.
* On Hammer and Mill Ponds, there is a concession for OAP, disabled, and juniors, but not on weekends.

* Closed on December 31 and reopened on Easter for repairs.
