Cuckfield Fishery has three fair sized ponds which are surrounded on two sides by gorse bushes and trees. It is a very quiet spot aside from the odd crack of golf ball hitting the trees.
Fishermen are most likely to find little gudgeon, roach, carp and tench but with bigger hooks and bait you can end up catching 20/30 6oz-1lb carp on primarily worm and luncheon meat.
To fish at Cuckfield Fishery you don’t have to possess a permit and there is a car park available.
