Hawstead Lakes is a coarse fishing venue located near Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk. These mature lakes contain a variety of coarse fish including Common and Mirror Carp weighing between 5lb and 33lbs, Perch up to specimen weight, recently stocked small Carp, Roach and Bream, Tench and Crucian Carp.The fishery comprises two lakes; Willow and Spring Head Lake. Willow Lake is the largest lake located neaxt to the car park. It is about 2.7 acres in size containing common and mirror carp up to 33lbs, Tench up to 5lbs, Specimen Perch, Rudd, Bream and Roach.Spring Head lake is less than an acre in size containing Crucian Carp and Tench.
