Willow Hall Dam

Dam Head Road, Sowerby Bridge, HX6 2SR, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom

This Sowerby Bridge water is a small size dam with room for about 18 anglers. Access to the dam is sign-posted in a small gap between the terraced houses on Dam Head Road. This leads to a lane and parking which runs along one side of the dam. It is in a steep wooded valley which and this reflects the steepness of the dams sides. The depth drops away steeply to nearly 20 feet all the way around. Maximum depth at the center of the lake towards the dam end is approximately 25+ feet! Fishing is allowed all around the lake except the South-Western corner where the water over-flow is located (observe the limit boards). Species include roach, perch, ide, f1 carp, rudd, bream, chub, tench, pike and barbel!
