Newton Lane Pond is a 5 acre former mine working pit located near Wakefield in West Yorkshire. The venue contains a variety of coarse fish including Carp reaching the low 20's figure. The water is disabled friendly but there are no other facilities so bring your food and drinks with you.Low banks with plenty or vegetation Far bank reserved for carp permit holders only. An attractive pond with loads of bankside trees to hide in. The margins have also plenty of reed beds ideal for margin fishing.Evenings are good for stalking carp using floaters providing no bankside disturbance.

You would need to join walton fishing club books are available from rods and reels castleford go on website for other outlets
