River Yar

The IWFAA controls three stretches of
the Eastern Yar, all stretches contain a wide variety of species
including roach, dace, bream, chub, tench, carp, perch and eels. For a
small river specimens can be surprisingly large with bream of over 6lb,
tench of over 4lb and double figure carp recorded.
Please note that all river venues are
available to full IWFAA members only, day tickets are not available.
Closed season applies to all stretches and they may not be fished
between 15th March and 15th June.
