Lakeside fishery complex is based on an award winning nature reserve. There are two fishing lakes on the complex which hold a wide variety of fish such as rudd, bream, roach, perch, chub, tench, eel and carp.
The main lake is an old quarry that's roughly 2 acres in size with 13 pegs. There are some very large fish in this lake such as:
- Carp (to 35lbs)
- Tench (to 10lbs)
- Bream (to 10lbs)
- Perch (to 4lbs)
- ROACH, RUDD, & CHUB (to 3lbs)
- PIKE (to 33lbs)
The second lake is perfect for match fisherman or if you just want a bend in the rod. There are 8 pegs on the lake with the following stock of fish:
- Carp (to 10lbs)
- Tench (to 5lbs)
- Bream (to 5lbs)
- Perch (to 4lbs)
- Roach, Rudd, & Perch (to 1 1/2 lbs)
There is a onsite campsite for tourer caravans with 12 hookup points which is part of the CCC. Alternatively if you are looking to rent there is a 30ft static caravan overlooking the main lake.
