Garnffrwd Fly Fishing

Garnffrwd Park Mynyddcerrig Llanelli Carmarthenshire

A brilliantly planned and planted 5 acre lake nestled in stunning wooded settings may be found at Garnffrwd Park, in the heart of West Wales. Each day, a quarter million gallons of natural spring water are pumped into the lake. It was built in 1983 with trout fisherman in mind and is rich in aquatic life, with good hatches of sedge, damsel, mayfly, and a variety of other fly and crustacean species - excellent natural food for huge trout.

The platforms are strategically placed to cover the majority of the water while providing enough space for fishermen and women to enjoy their fishing in pleasant, uncrowded, and serene circumstances.

Rainbow and blue trout of all sizes (several in double figures), as well as brown and tiger trout, may be found in the lake. We stock a lot of fish that have been raised at the fishery and are well-conditioned fighters just waiting for someone to try them out.
