Bream Hole

Nether Poppleton, YO26 6, Yorkshire, United Kingdom

YDAA control the fishing on the right bank for over three miles. The fishery is split into three sections. In total approximately 3 miles of fishing are available. Night fishing is allowed by prior arrangement via the Waters secretary. Day tickets are available from the usual outlets.
This section is a continuation of the Red House Fishery and again it supports most running water species, with a good head of roach and bream present. Hot spots are the ‘Pipe Hole’ and the ‘Wires’.
Ground bait feeder with worm and caster again works well, with roach preferring a maggot feeder. The pole works well for bags of roach and perch when fishing just over the marginal weed.
The fishery is divided into sections for the purpose of match bookings and differs in depths and widths, and is suitable for all methods of angling and can throw up some real surprises.
