Eversfield Lake is set in the rolling North Devon countryside, part of a calm, quiet valley full of nature. It has a long established natural environment offering excellent, exclusive fly-fishing to guests and holds a good head of Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout reaching up to 5lbs in weight.Guests may choose to catch Rainbow Trout for their pot or just enjoy outsmarting one of the wily Brown Trout using catch and release for an afternoon. The water is regularly stocked to maintain a healthy head of fish which supply good sport to both the more practised in the art and the newcomer alike. The 1.5 acre lake is abundant with wildlife as you would expect in this setting. The wildfowl, deer, and the otter visit the lake on a regular basis and bats are evident as dusk falls.Eversfield Lake is a most pleasant place to take the first steps into fly-fishing and there is friendly instruction in the noble art available through local lake members and professional instructors.Any angler aged 12 years or over, fishing for salmon, trout, freshwater fish or eels in England (except the River Tweed), must hold an Environment Agency Rod Licence.Day tickets can be purchased from the reception area in The Lodge or booked in advance by email or phone call.
