Heath Lake is a coarse fishing venue located near Warmwell in Dorset. This fishing venue is controlled by Dorchester and District Angling Society and this water is for members only. The lake contains a variety of coarse fish including Carp, Bream, Tench, Roach, Pike and Eel.The Season16 June to 14 March inclusiveAlso open 15 March to 15 June at the discretion of the committee.Opening Times: Fishing only between 6.30 am and 10.00 pm, or one hour after sunset, whichever is the earlier (sunset times displayed in the car park log). Directions and LocationEntry & Exit to be ONLY via the B3390. Heading north from Warmwell to Crossways, the entrance is on the left 100yds past the Warmwell Leisure Resort entrance. Heading south from Crossways it is on the right, past Oakwood Park. At the junction with the B3390, there is a barrier on the site road. ‘ THIS BARRIER MUST BE LEFT AS FOUND’. If it’s locked, access is via the DDAS combination lock. (number available on request). Proceed along the site road for 400yds. Turn LEFT into the DDAS car park entrance (red day-glow tape on posts). Unlock - enter – Lock gate behind you. Please park sensibly to ensure maximum use of the space.N.B. Parking elsewhere is strictly forbidden. Beware of site traffic when exiting.Walk down the track past the rear of Warmwell Leisure Resort. The lake & gate is about 600yds on the right at the bottom of a small incline. Please lock the gates on entry & exit every time. ‘All’ locks have the same combination.The bridleway must be kept clear at all times.
