Higher Kingcombe Coarse Fishing

Common Lane, Dorchester, DT2 0EH, Dorset, United Kingdom

Higher Kingcomber Lodge is set in the beautiful Kingcombe Valley. This is an unspoilt part of West Dorset, only a few miles from the Jurassic coastline. There are eight lakes available for fishing - each amply stocked with mirror, common and ghost carp, as well as a native population of tench, chub and perch. One lake is kept as a specimen lake which holds some monster carp over thirty pounds. There is a car park and toilet facilities available on site.

fishing permits - 3rd Sep 2019 at 3:15pm

good morning, I have looked at your site but it does not state if you allow season or day permits to fish. I would be interested to know what is available now as I used to fish there many years ago as I live near Yeovil and it would be an ideal place to come fish and relax

Hello We only have day tickets with an honesty box, we don’t do season tickets I am afraid. You do need an Environment Agency Rod Licence to fish here. Dorchester Angling Club do have the top left lake which you can get a season ticket for just their lake. Kind regards
