Fields End Water Caravan Park is located near Doddington in Cabridgeshire. This is an adult only caravan park that offers coarse fishing to its guests. The fishery comprises of two lakes offering a variety of coarse fish incuding Carp, Tench, Roach, Perch. "The Pit" covers roughly three acres and was created in 1980, and for the last fifteen years has been a fishing lake. It is widely respected to be a quiet, tranquil and above all a friendly fishery, with its own on-site bait shop opening on the 6th April 2009.
"The Pit" is host to many varieties of fish including Carp, Crucian, Tench, Perch and Roach. The largest carp to be caught in "The Pit" so far is 27lbs, and one of our regulars recently took a 10lb Tench. There are twenty-four swims around the outside of the pit, and in the summer months and bank holidays it is advisable to arrive early as it does get busy.
"The Pool" has been custom designed and created for Match fishing. "The Pool" opened for its first match in September 2004. It has been stocked with thousands of Carp, Chubb, Orf, Barbel and Tench - ranging from half a pound to six pounds, but they are all growing very quickly. We run our own Open Matches, Senior Citizens matches, pub team series and a Thursday evening Jackpot Series. The other dates are free to be booked by angling clubs, other teams and private matches. Already "The Pool" is proving to be a successful venue.
