The Fishery is situated in the peace and tranquillity of the River Roding valley in the heart of the picturesque Essex countryside. Originally opened in 1980 with one lake it has now grown into a fully managed mature fishery with 3 beautiful and well stocked fishing lakes offering day ticket fishing and night fishing for members. On-site you will find The Bankside Cafe and toilet facilities, open 7 days a week. Day Ticket Fishing 7 days a week 07:00hrs - 19:00hrs (or dusk, which ever is sooner) Night fishing by appointment and for members only.

Very poor fishing, water low and toilet needs a good clean. All clubs watch out as he puts day tickets in between match pegs. There is a load of crayfish also.

Tranquil setting. Plenty of carp although not easily caught. Bankside cafe is closed and appears derelict. Toilets are disgusting! No shower facilities.

Be lucky if it’s got any 30s many years ago it was a brilliant fishery but it’s lost all it’s charm.. used the toilet would have been safer to use the bush.. shame
