The lake is 17 acres in size it has a shore line which gives it great protection from winds when fishing. It contains a wide variety of species such as catfish up to 37lb, carp to 27lb, tench to 4lb, pike to 23lb and bream to 5lb. This lake has also produced a pike over the 33lb mark a few years ago. 

Night fishing is allowed on the complex providing that you have the Micklem mere permit.
