Willow Lake

A414 North Orbital Road, St Albans, AL4 ORY, Herts, United Kingdom

Part of a 180 acre estate, Willows Lakes consists of three mature gravel pits which are 22, 12 and 4 acres in size. You can also stalk fish on the three quarter of a mile section of the River Colne. The lakes may only be three minutes away from the M25, but thanks to its farm surroundings you would think that you were in the middle of nowhere. The investment in 6,000 trees 12 years ago makes the site blend perfectly into its surroundings.
After 15 years of operating, Bowmans Lakes are now under new management and are today known as Willows Lakes.
On site facilities:
A full time on site bailiff.
Weekend tackle and bait available.
Toilets and running water.
Catering.
Willows Lakes boasts three sized lakes total of 38 acres of open water, offering good sport to all standards of anglers. With a Fishery Bailiff on site 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, the fishery is committed to the running, security and upkeep of the complex.

bad fishing even though what they say. Cafe never open as they say they have and cat fish have killed the native fish. Rude staff and armed and seen some geese and other dead birds laying around lakes. Not sure if this is a correct way to go. Avoid
