Kings Weir Fishery is located near Wormley and Broxbourne in Herts.Kings Weir is generally known for its Barbel which in recent times are caught at weights up to and exceeding 15lbs. The chub fishing is also excellent with specimen chub in excess of 6lbs and bigger a realistic target, fish over 7lbs are regularly caught with the fishery record in excess of 9lbs.The weir pool itself also has some large bream close to double figures, Perch in excess of 3lbs and Pike to upper doubles with potentially bigger fish. In recent seasons there has been a big increase in the numbers quality Roach and Dace re-colonising the pool with good summer fish on seed baits .The Weir pool is organised into 9 marked swims, 6 on the house side, west bank and 3 opposite on the east bank.
