A popular venue for junior club members, the moat offers some exciting fishing, although only shallow especially during the summer months, a wide variety of fish can be caught, with some reasonable size carp hiding amongst the more popular species. not a major water by any stretch of the imagination but still well worth a visit. Best baits would seem to be bread, corn, maggot and pellet. Peel Hall Moat is now part of Peel Hal Park and is situated on the corner of Peel Hall Road and Lomond Road.
